A great place for wine newbies and wine-geeks and anyone in between! WHIRED (pronounced “wired”= white + red wine) is located across from the California State Capitol in the Senator Building. 

 

With an Italian theme and beautiful portico as a backdrop, WHIRED fits perfectly into the midtown Sacramento scene. Easy to walk to and a great place to relax outside, the wine window was designed to appeal to anyone in search of great ambience, tasty small plates and fabulous wine.  In addition to its extensive wine-by-the-glass and bottle offerings, WHIRED also serves beer and sangria.

 

“Sacramento is a miniature California—a diverse culture and a little bit of everything,” owner John Marco says.

 

He hopes his business will reflect that, offering an eclectic and casual place for guests to relax during lunch, happy hour and before or after local events.
